Me at around age 2 with my mom

Not many people can say that they share a birthday with their mother. But I am. I love getting to share my moms birthday. :O)

On March 14th, 2009, I had my 30th birthday. My parents, brother and a few of best friends met me and the BF at this cute cafe in North Park called Cardamom Cafe & Bakery.

Its a charming spot that has really good coffee and tasty food.

Once breakfast was over, me and the BF went to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the lovely Balboa Park.

After the parade, we went down to this bike shop in downtown San Diego and rented 2 bike. We biked thru the Gaslamp Quarter and up to Seaport Village. It was a beautiful day to go biking.

After biking, we went to our new favorite burger joint called Lucky Bucks for their by 1 get 1 drinks special. A cheeseburger, onion rings and 2 blended margarita’s hit the spot.

After heading home to change and hang with my nieces and nephews, we rolled back downtown to Heavenly Cupcakes for my favorite cupcake; the Orange Chip cupcake. Heavenly Cupcakes have pretty good organic coffee too.

That evening, my best friend bought 2 tix to see the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. All I can say about that is Oh My Gosh! They were absolutely phenomenal.

So my 30th b-day was packed but I had a good day.
